As the seasons inevitably change from summer to fall and finally winter, my skin often reacts with the weather. In the summer heat, my skin actually loves the dampness in the air when the humidity lingers around from June until August. The humid air helps my super dry skin naturally retain moisture. As soon as the humidity slowly disappears I am left with drier skin from head to toe!

To combat this change in the seasons, I am quick to go out and restock on another bottle of Palmer’s® Coconut Oil Formula Lotion to layer the sweet and refreshing coconut lotion on my arms and legs. The coconut scent always reminds me of my Mom, as she has loved applying Palmer’s® Coconut-scented products on her skin for years. I also love coconut for its rich tropical scent that reminds me of summers spent in my hometown by the beach. Palmer’s® Coconut Oil Formula Lotion instantly rehydrates skin and leaves a radiant glow that lasts all day long for 24-hour moisture that I can rely on! I put it on in the morning and I never have to worry about reapplying it. I also leave the house feeling confident that I smell absolutely amazing with the perfect blend of sweet almond oil, macadamia oil, and coconut oil only found in Palmer’s® products.

Before I met with my dermatologist to talk about the best products to use on my dry skin, I had no clue that oil would be a great solution. Now I also incorporate Palmer’s® Coconut Oil Body Oil on areas of my arms where I see the most dryness. I rub body oil on my elbows and knees for extra moisture on days when I see evidence of flakey skin. The liquid silk, instant-absorbing oil creates a goddess-like glow all over skin. I also enjoy using products with a generous amount of organic rosehip oil as it contains healing properties for my dry skin type!

While these products have great benefits and the perfect coconut scent is ideal- it gets better! They are affordable! It's hard to pass up (or even come by) affordable products that hold their quality. To test these out for yourself- take advantage of the coupon offer going on now. Save $1.50 off any Palmer's product!

The raw coconut oil balm for multi-purpose hydration and skin repair will no doubt have your skin feeling deeply hydrated this winter season. There is nothing I crave more than lathering a smooth balm over my feet and hands because they can start to feel dry as soon as the weather shifts where I live! I soak my feet in a lavender bath and use a small amount of the balm on my cracked heels, too.

More Proven Ways to Keep Your Dry Skin Feeling Hydrated?

Other tips to keep your dry skin at bay this season? Drinking plenty of water will help. Hydrating is super important for your entire body. Keeping a reusable bottle of water nearby is something that I typically do in the colder months. When I wake up, I drink a full bottle of water before I even get up to take a shower or get dressed for the day. Even if you don’t like the taste of plain water you can slice up a lemon to add more flavor. A full glass of water before every meal also helps with digestion.

Another tip is to run your shower at a lukewarm temperature instead of a hot one. The heat dissolves natural oils found on your body which can also leave your skin feeling extra dry. The oils actually act as a barrier to protect the skin from outside aggressors that you may experience as the seasons change. A lukewarm shower can easily fix any further damage to dry skin. The surface of the skin will also be immediately replenished when you step outside of the shower, towel off, and apply any of dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic Palmer’s® coconut products listed in this post, too.

  1. Thanks for sharing these great tips! I have an extremely dry skin which becomes super flaky during winters. I have used Palmer’s body butter and coconut oil which to some extent helps me to manage it. https://www.ceraonline.org/we-the-people-cbd-oil-review/
